Trying to give a really good, concise description of the Prestigio SRU8010/37 by Philips is very difficult. It has so many functions and features (cannot begin to count). I guess you could count, I won't. The remote control device allows you to customize your TV experience by programming remote by viewer or by viewing category. I mean, it even has "his" and "her" buttons*. It has easy to read buttons, a vivid color LCD screen which displays logos of the networks and is extremely viewer friendly. But that is only the beginning. You can store up to 90 favorite channels for up to 2 users. But I am just getting warmed up. This will make HDTV and home theater viewing even more enjoyable. The on-screen wizard makes set up a breeze. The learning feature allows you to learn function from your original remote. Advanced DVD functions included chapter, scan, subtitle, zoom, etc. It has dedicated DVR key to play DVR/TIVO. I could go on and on. But why don't you see for yourself? This remote retails from between $47.00 and $90.00. One vendor claims he is selling it for $4.99 but also claims to be sold out. Good luck with that one. But in the sense of fairness, we like to advise our customers of all the deals out there. If you are still unsure check out this cool review and video from CNet and make up your mind.
